Tony DeAugustine has been playing drums since grade school. He has performed with many artists including: Grammy Award winner Dennis De Young (Styxx), Irene Kara, Sabastian Bach (Skid Row) Carl Anderson (Weather Report), Ben Vereen (Tony Award Winner), Leslie Uggams (Tony Award Winner), Kevin Spacey (Academy Award Winner), and Jack Black ( School of Rock ) and Award Winning Austrailian pop vocal group Human Nature. Tony has done prerecords for The American Music Awards as well as The Academy Awards, Recorded Broadway albums at Abbey Road Studios UK. , dozens of TV show Themes and some jingles too. He has played for Broadway shows such as Lion King, Swing, Follies, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Producers, Spamalot, Dream Girls and many others. He currently enjoys a vast array of musical situations, recording work and concert work, as well as writing and performing music with his own band. He has taught drums at the Armed Forces School of Music (seven years in the United States Marine Corp ), Dick Grove School of Music, and Day Jams Summer Music Camps. He has just completed his own educational series of drum books: Creating The Ultimate Drummer”. In addition to that, Tony performs and tours with the highly successful pop group Expose`.
